5 MINUTES FROM A27

Exit A27 at HAVANT turn off and follow signs for HAYLING ISLAND.

Proceed over the Hayling Bridge and turn left into NORTHNEY ROAD.

After 0.5 miles turn left into marina entrance.

At the marina reception there are toilets, washing facilities,

a small shop where you can purchase crisps, biscuits, soft drinks etc.

there is also a hot drinks machine.

PARKING IS FREE, Bear this in mind when you book a fishing trip,

you could save up to £20 a day per car in parking fees.

At the end of a hard days fishing during the summer months you can relax in the beer/restaurant marquee over looking the marina with a nice ice cold beer !!

PAUL from Bognor caught this 9lb bass on mackeral fillet one evening in June. It certainly put a smile on his face !!

Thank the Lord he'd had a bad spell.

EVENING TRIPS

Evening trips have become very popular over the last couple of years.

You can fish on a Friday evening and still have the weekend free !!

Evening trips are available 7 days a week

Trips usualy start around 1700hrs and return to marina by midnight.

Times can be adjusted to suit.

Bream, bass, conger, mackeral, plaice, rays, soles, smoothound, tope are all available

during the year, On a normal trip l try to target at least two of these species.

Relax and enjoy a nice summers evening, fishing !!

March 09 pictures

Well the season started of a bit hit and miss, but we caught a few nice ones.

Mainly targeting blonde rays and conger. One Channel trip saw 19 congers up to 60lbs

plus a few nice blondes.

He also nailed his personal best Conger of 60lbs on the same day.


Paul Speller with a nice 19.5lb blonde ray, caught on a trip to the offshore banks.


David Haylock had a lovely day fishing with his father Roger Haylock

This blonde weighed in at 19.25lbs.

Several blonde rays & smoothound

plus a couple of late whiting

were also caught.

A good day with two realIy nice guys.

UP TO DATE NEWS ON FISHING

14th JULY 2009

Well i'v just had 5 trips blown out through bad weather, but previous to that we had a

nice bit of sport inshore with some thornbacks, blondes, small tope, smoothound & bass.

The mackeral have at last turned up in large shoals there even in the Harbours you can catch them from the shore on Hayling front and Chichester Harbour entrance so go and fill your boots and lurking around the mackeral shoals you may just find a nice Bass.
